My grandfather Ladharam Madan was born in Tehsil Jang-bahadur in pre-partitioned India in 1928 and soon after the partition shifted to Nagpur in pursuit of new business opportunities. He started by trading cotton textiles in free India. We dealt with many different fabrics like dress materials, suiting and shirting fabrics etc.

Soon my father (Sohan Madan) joined my grandfather, and we gradually shifted towards decoration fabrics. "Ladharam Jivandas", with the joint efforts of my father and my grandfather, became one of the few top decoration fabric suppliers in Nagpur.

My grandfather and my father always believed in fair business practices and made sure to deal with "the best quality products" making most the pillar of the organization.
